Certificate Options
Choose a Maturity Date or Term — URW Community Federal share certificates offer the flexibility to choose a certificate by a specific maturity date or by choosing the specific term length.
Maturity date: Choose the date your share certificate will mature without being restricted by specific certificate term lengths. The benefit is your investment will be available on the date you want it.
Term: Choose from 6 months to 60 months term lengths. The share certificate will mature at the end of the term you selected.
Bump Certificates — Do you like to keep tabs on financial markets and follow interest rate forecasts? Then you may want to choose a 12- or 24-month "Bump" Certificate. These Certificates have a one-time option to increase the interest rate on your investment to URW Community Federal’s published rate for the equivalent term Certificates.
Jumbo Share Certificates - Earn higher rates with a minimum deposit of $100,000.
Veteran’s Family Fund Certificates — Make your savings count for others through the Veterans Family Fund. For this 6 month CD, half of the interest that you earn will be paid to veteran families in need, and the other half is paid to you. The interest paid to the Fund may be tax-deductible. Automatic Renewal
Your certificate will automatically renew at maturity unless you change your options via online banking. You can also call or write with other instructions.
