If you're out and about and you need your balance now, Text Banking is for you. This free service allows you to quickly request and receive account information via text message. You don't need to sign in with an account number or password, and it's just as secure as all our other services. After registering, just text one of the following commands to 59289 and get the answer you need in seconds.
Text us: We will text you back:
BAL A balance update on your savings, money market and checking accounts.
HIST The last three transactions in your savings, money market and checking accounts.
CMD A list of valid commands supported by Text Banking.
HELP Support and contact information for URW Community Federal.
STOP Confirmation that you wish to suspend text banking.
How it works:
It's easy to register your mobile device:
- Sign on to Net Branch.
- Select the Service tab at the top of the page, then select the Mobile link and follow the instructions.
- Enter your mobile phone number and accept the mobile banking agreement.
- You are now ready to access your account information via text message. Simply text BAL or HIST to 59289 to check your account balances or to see if a transaction has cleared your account.
Helpful Tips:
- Text messages aren't case sensitive — you can use bal or BAL.
- To save time, add 59289 to your list of mobile contacts.
- If you send a text from outside the U.S., you may incur roaming fees. Check with your carrier for details.
